Arsenal struggled against Udinese and will have to do a much better job next week if they wish to advance to the next stage of UEFA Champions League. Meanwhile, Plzeň continued their series of good games and is likely to make their debut in UCL’s groups, altough nothing is sure until next week’s leg.

Lyon should be able to hold its advantage and continue to the group stage.

Dinamo Zagreb is most likely to be one of the teams that advance to the group stage, and altough Bayern only won by a two-goal margin they are the clear favourite.

Villareal on the other hand must score at least twice in next week’s game if they wish to join the other Spanish teams in UCL’s groups – Barcelona, Real Madrid and Valencia.

APOEL are close to their second participation in the group stage after they lost by only 1-0 to Wisła Kraków.
